Under the 2011 Financial Support Programs of the Ankara Development Agency, the TechAnkara brand emerged through a project supported by the Agency, with the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV) as the beneficiary and technology development zones in Ankara and the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) as partners. Since 2014, TechAnkara has been used as an umbrella brand under the coordination and stewardship of the Ankara Development Agency.
The following modules operate under the TechAnkara brand:
TechAnkara Project Bazaar provides exhibition space and booth services for startups with technology-based innovative projects, and enables B2B meetings so entrepreneurs can meet investors, customers, mentors, and advisors. Communication with entrepreneurs does not end with the event; they are included in the Agency’s Stakeholder Database, receive operational support during project development, and sustainable collaborations are established to improve access to human and financial resources.
The TechAnkara Project Bazaar is a technology gathering organized under the coordination of the Ankara Development Agency, with contributions from all entrepreneurship ecosystem stakeholders—primarily technology development zones, organized industrial zones, incubation centers, universities, and research centers in Ankara.
Through the TechAnkara Project Bazaar, the Ankara Development Agency allocates exhibition space and booth services to startups with innovative, technology-based projects. One-on-one business meetings are held to connect entrepreneurs with investors, customers, mentors, and consultants. The Agency’s engagement with entrepreneurs does not end with the event. By including them in the Agency’s Stakeholder Database, operational support is provided throughout the development of their projects, and sustainable collaborations are established to facilitate access to human and financial resources.
