2026 TechAnkara Maker Program Launches

Implemented in collaboration with the Ankara Development Agency, the Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education, and Teknopark Ankara, the 2026 TechAnkara Maker Program is an innovative and production-oriented initiative aimed at middle school students enrolled in public and private educational institutions across Ankara.

Organized under the theme “Code, Transform, Sustain: Smart Ideas for the Capital, Safe Tomorrows,” the primary goal of the program is to introduce young people to a technology-based maker culture at an early age, enhance their problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills, and encourage them to generate innovative ideas.

Program Scope

Throughout the competition process, students will develop innovative, feasible, and socially beneficial projects by utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired in the following areas:

  • Block-based coding

  • Algorithmic thinking

  • Robotics applications

  • Smart system design

Training Process

Prior to the competition, online training sessions will be held for participants covering the following topics:

  • Effective Presentation and Visual Design with Canva

  • Block-Based Coding with PictoBlox

  • Arduino-Based Robotics Applications

Through these training modules, the program aims to enhance students' technical capabilities as well as their project presentation and visual storytelling skills.
