The application process for the 2026 TechAnkara Maker Program Makeathlon Technology and Coding Competition—organized under the coordination of the Ankara Development Agency, with the support of the Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education, and in cooperation with Teknopark Ankara—has concluded.

Following an intensive influx of applications from public and private middle schools across Ankara, 20 principal and 2 alternate teams have qualified to participate in the competition.

The competition will take place on April 11, 2026, at Teknopark Ankara. Young participants will have the opportunity to showcase both their technical skills and creative thinking abilities through electronic circuit components and smart device designs.

The TechAnkara Maker Program Makeathlon aims to encourage future technology creators, nurturing them at an early age into solution-oriented individuals mindful of societal challenges.
