The "2026 Startup Law and Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Mentorship Program" was implemented for startups operating within technoparks and TEKMERs (Technology Center) in Ankara. The program aimed to strengthen the legal infrastructure of startups, raise awareness regarding intellectual and industrial property rights, and contribute to the effective protection of these rights.

Carried out under the coordination of the Ankara Development Agency with contributions from legal experts, the initiative was designed to help companies based in technoparks and TEKMERs manage their legal processes more effectively and sustain their entrepreneurial endeavors on a firmer foundation.

Within the scope of the program, hybrid and online training sessions were organized for startups operating within ASBÜ SOSYOKENT, SBÜ TEKMER, GAZİ TEKNOPARK, and BİLKENT HANE TEKMER. In addition to the training modules, tailored mentorship support tailored to the specific needs of participating companies was provided throughout the program.

The training sessions were held as follows:

• Hybrid format at ASBÜ SOSYOKENT on February 18–19–20,

• Hybrid format at SBÜ TEKMER on February 25–26–27,

• Hybrid format at GAZİ TEKNOPARK on March 4–5–6,

• Online format at BİLKENT HANE TEKMER on March 9–10–11.

Following the planned schedule, the training modules were successfully completed, and the associated mentorship activities were concluded.

With limited capacity, the program provided mentorship support to a designated number of companies from each technopark and TEKMER, with applications evaluated on the basis of eligibility criteria and the order of submission.

The program is expected to make substantial contributions to boosting the legal capabilities of startups operating in the Ankara entrepreneurship ecosystem, enabling them to manage their intellectual and industrial property rights more efficiently and enter investment processes backed by a stronger legal foundation.
