The Deep TechAnkara 2026 Acceleration Program, hosted by Technopark Ankara for the third time, successfully concluded with its Demo Day event held on June 24.

Throughout the approximately four-month program, participating startups received training, mentoring, and business development support, giving them the opportunity to showcase the innovative technologies they developed to investors, corporate companies, and key ecosystem stakeholders.

Selected from 98 applications submitted this year, the participating startups presented solutions in strategic fields including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, educational technologies, health technologies, advanced materials, and industrial digitalization. As part of the program, startups received advanced-level training, one-on-one mentoring, and comprehensive support throughout their investment-readiness processes.

At Demo Day, 17 deep-tech startups took the stage, showcasing not only their technologies but also their business models, growth strategies, and global scaling ambitions. The startups also had the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings with investors. The event attracted strong interest from leading investors in Türkiye, venture capital funds, corporate representatives, and public-sector stakeholders, serving as an important platform for new business partnerships and investment opportunities.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Av. Duhan Kalkan, Secretary General of the Ankara Development Agency, highlighted Ankara’s strong innovation ecosystem, supported by its organized industrial zones, research centers, technoparks, and universities. He emphasized the strategic importance of initiatives that connect entrepreneurs with investors in advancing Türkiye’s goals for high value-added production and technology-driven development.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Damla Turan, General Director of R&D Incentives at the Ministry of Industry and Technology, shared key targets concerning Türkiye’s 2030 vision for technology entrepreneurship. Turan emphasized that the entrepreneurship ecosystem has a critical role to play in achieving Türkiye’s goals for high value-added and technology-driven development.

Hasan Gültekin, Chairman of the Board of İvedik Organized Industrial Zone and Technopark Ankara, also addressed the audience, emphasizing that artificial intelligence and deep technologies are no longer merely technological trends; they have become key drivers shaping manufacturing, defense, healthcare, energy, and global competitiveness.

Through the sessions, discussions, and networking meetings held as part of the event, entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders laid the groundwork for new collaborations. At the end of the day, participating startups received various forms of in-kind support, internationalization assistance, investment-readiness and intellectual property support, as well as special awards for investment and growth.

The first-place award at Demo Day was presented to Singularity, founded by Muhammet Anıl Yağız, for developing an AI-powered autonomous cybersecurity platform (AutoSecOps) for heterogeneous device fleets.

Second place went to Xena Vision, represented by Nazlı Temur, for its solution providing AI-powered video analytics, early risk and emergency detection, and visual and security analytics for critical infrastructure and security operations.

Third place was awarded to Mantiscope, represented by Mert Burkay Çöteli, for developing an AI-powered digital microscopy device and remote diagnostic system for hematology.

The Deep TechAnkara 2026 Demo Day concluded as more than simply a showcase for startups. It served as an important platform highlighting Ankara’s growing entrepreneurial capacity in deep technology and artificial intelligence, bringing investors and entrepreneurs together, and contributing to Türkiye’s vision of developing high value-added technologies.
