The MedInvest Investor & Entrepreneur Meeting, organized under the coordination of the Ankara Development Agency, hosted by the Technology Development Center of the University of Health Sciences (SBÜ TEKMER), and held in cooperation with the Lokman Hekim University Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies Development Center (LHUSTEK), brought together innovative startups operating in the field of health technologies with investors and key ecosystem stakeholders.
The event aimed to support startups working in health technologies, biotechnology, medical devices, digital health, and artificial intelligence throughout their investment journeys, facilitate direct engagement with investors, and foster new opportunities for collaboration within Ankara’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Following the application process, 10 startups were selected to participate in the event. The startups presented their innovative products and technologies to investors and industry representatives, providing insights into their business models, technological infrastructure, target markets, and growth strategies.

The event also brought together prominent figures representing the health technology investment ecosystem. During the investor evaluation session, Dr. Ali Haydar Yakut, Director of Medical Operations at Lokman Hekim Health Group; Ali Serkan Dündarlı, Chairman of the Board of Hane; Hakan Yıldız, Founder and General Manager of Fonbulucu; Hakkı Gürsöz, former President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) and founder of a pharmaceutical company; Muratcan İğdeli, Founder of VC Ally; and Süleyman Alper İnceöz, CEO of Lokman Hekim Health Group (Infinity Ventures), met with the participating entrepreneurs, evaluated their projects, and shared their insights and recommendations regarding investment processes.
The presentations provided an interactive environment, with investors asking questions and offering feedback to the participating startups. During the networking break, entrepreneurs and investors had the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings and establish direct connections. The program continued with further evaluations and feedback from investors, along with recommendations to help startups better prepare for future investment processes.
The meetings held as part of the MedInvest Investor & Entrepreneur Meeting, coordinated by the Ankara Development Agency, are expected to strengthen innovative health technology startups’ access to the investment ecosystem, accelerate their growth, and create opportunities for sustainable partnerships. The initiative is also expected to contribute to the further development of Ankara’s entrepreneurial capacity.
