The Siber Vatan (Cyber Homeland) Program—conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Defence Industry Agency, and under the coordination of the Directorate General of Development Agencies—continues to be implemented concurrently across all 81 provinces of Türkiye in 2026.
Specifically for Ankara, the program was realized under the coordination of the Ankara Development Agency and within the framework of a protocol signed with Ankara University. In this context, approximately 40 students enrolled in universities across Ankara who succeeded in the pre-selection exam participated in the in-person training program held on April 20–24, 2026, at the AnkaraAim Research and Innovation Center on Ankara University’s Beşevler Campus.
Following the training modules, which provided in-depth technical knowledge and practical skills in the field of cybersecurity, participants were presented with their credentials at a certificate ceremony held on April 24, 2026. The ceremony was hosted by the Rectorate of Ankara University.
Implemented since 2019, the Siber Vatan Program supports young people in gaining competencies in cybersecurity, enhances employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and contributes to Türkiye’s digital security capacity.
