District-Level Information Meetings for the Social Entrepreneurship Financial Support Program Successfully Completed

District-level information meetings were held as part of the Ankara Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Capacity Building Financial Support Program, implemented by the Ankara Development Agency under the Direct Grant Component of the Project for Supporting Civil Society through Social Entrepreneurship in Türkiye, co-financed by the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III).

The program aims to strengthen Ankara’s social entrepreneurship ecosystem, support the capacity of social enterprises to develop products and services that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, and encourage associations and foundations to establish economic enterprises in order to strengthen their financial sustainability and enable them to operate as social enterprises.

As part of the program:

  • The Beypazarı Information Meeting, organized in cooperation with the Beypazarı District Governorship and attended by Mr. Ünal Coşkun, District Governor of Beypazarı, was held on July 29, 2026, at the Beypazarı District Governorship Conference Hall.

The information meetings brought together representatives of associations, foundations, cooperatives, and businesses. Participants received detailed information on the program’s objectives and priorities, eligible applicants, available grant amounts, application requirements, and the application process. Questions from participants regarding the program and their project ideas were addressed during the Q&A sessions.

Together with the information meetings held in Ankara city center and its districts, a total of 400 people participated in the information activities. The district-level meetings helped extend the program’s reach to a broader pool of potential applicants across Ankara and ensured that organizations operating in different districts were informed about the application process.

Project applications will remain open until October 2, 2026. To support applicants during the project preparation process, the second project development training session will be held on September 2, 2026. Applicants will also be able to receive support from the Technical Assistance Desk regarding the development of their project ideas and questions related to the application process.
